Festival of Science

The idea to organise an event whose aim was the promotion of knowledge and science was born at the Jagiellonian University in year 2000. It met with the approval of other centres of higher education in Kraków. The Kraków Festival of Science’s jubilee 10th edition, which takes place on 12-15 May will be packed with the most interesting presentations – those familiar from previous years as well as completely new ones – contributing to this year’s motto: Technology-Art-Life. In the tents located on the Main Square there’ll be no shortage of spectacular events, multimedia shows, panel discussions, lectures, and meetings and talks from individual higher education establishments, while the art section will feature concerts, exhibitions and theatre shows.
